Criminal Law
The Criminal Law of Mongolia protects human rights, freedom, public and national interests from criminal attacks, defines 19 groups of socially dangerous acts and omissions (for example, theft, robbery, bribery etc) and establishes the type and amount of punishment. In criminal proceedings, detectives and prosecutors are involved in determining the commission of a crime, and advocates are involved in protecting human rights, freedoms, and legitimate interests. Our firm protects the rights and legitimate interests of suspects under criminal investigation, defendants, and accused during court proceeding, meanwhile, we provide legal services to individuals and entities who have been harmed by crimes. We provide advocacy and legal services in the following areas of criminal law. These are: - Crimes against the property rights (Fraud, Embezzlement) - Crimes against economy (Tax evasion, Money laundering, Stock market manipulation, Bankruptcy fraud, Illegal banking fraud) - Crimes of corruption (Abuse of power and position, Public officials taking bribes, Giving bribes, Misappropriation of public budget, Unjust enrichment, Abuse of power by entities)
